ON-SITE CAMPING

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Unserviced, Serviced, and Premium Serviced campsites?
The Unserviced sites do not have electricity or water services. The Serviced sites have electricity (20 amps minimum) and water services (not potable water). Premium Serviced sites are larger and offer electricity (30 amps) and water services (not potable water). Premium Serviced camping is the best option for guests who have motorhomes or tent trailers.

Can I leave the campgrounds after we've loaded in?
Yes, but we don’t encourage you to leave your camping spot with your vehicle. Once you are in we encourage you to stay in. We will provide a shuttle service for campers into town throughout the duration of the festival. The shuttle drops off downtown where you can access restaurants, shopping, banks, and groceries within walking distance.

How many tents/vehicles can I have in my campsite?
Each campsite is allowed one vehicle and a maximum of two tents OR one trailer & one tent per campsite. Your entire camp setup must fit within your allotted campsite.

How can I camp next to my friends?
Please send us an email at rockthehub@trurogroup.ca with the reservation names and we will do our best to arrange a campsite near your friends.

Can I have guests visit my campsite?
No. Campers must have a weekend pass (bracelet) to enter the camping zone. Visitors without a camping bracelet are not permitted this year due to Public Health Covid restrictions.

Can I sleep in my vehicle?
No. Due to safety and security reasons we can not allow anyone to sleep in their vehicle.

Will showers be available on site?
Unfortunately, in order to follow current Public Health protocols, we are unable to provide shower facilities on-site for campers.

Can I bring in alcohol?
Campers over the age of 19 are allowed two bulk alcohol items per person. A bulk item is defined as:
  • One 24-case (cans only, bottles are not permitted) of beer,
  • One 26oz bottle of alcohol or
  • 4L of wine
Anything above and beyond the allowable limits will be surrendered

Can I bring a gas-powered generator?
Yes. Please let the campground staff know when you arrive that you plan to use a generator. All generators must be turned off for quiet hours.

What's the largest RV I can bring?
All Premium Serviced and Serviced sites are 20X40, so if you have an RV that exceeds this size you must purchase two camp sites.

Can I get my RV pumped?
RV pump outs will not be available for the weekend. There will be portable washrooms to use on site.
